I am going to be moving my mare really soon, and need to know all of the necessities to have. Here is my list. Please add to it if you can think of anything.

what other things do I need besides feed, because I already have that
I'd 86 the straw and go with pine shaivings or pelelted bedding. Straw retains moisture and this can cause a fungus to grow if you don't get evry little pee spot out. . might want a salt block holder too . what is the desitin for? also if you are using wonder dust for proud flesh try hydrated lime instead. It's cheaper in the long run ...8.00 for a 50lb bag vs 8.00 for a little bottle and works way better than wonder dust. eats proud flesh right off, just throw a handful on the wound dialy. As far as first aid stuff goes, I'd get a little rubbermaid caddy type box and stock it with vet wrap, gauze, NFZ salve , DMSO , Scarlet Oil , Blue Lotion , aloe Heal , ichthamol , epsom salt paste , duct tape , bandage scissors , rubber gloves, syringes (w/out needle) A liniment...etc Brushes it looks liek you are right on the money with might want a face brush. how bought fly mask and fly sheet and a must in any barn Zip Ties! lol love those things
