How can I get rid of dead rat smell? The odor is horrible, the smell is coming from a pipe! cant get to it!!!?
My laundry rooms smells awful! I feel dizzy, and I can't even walk by without being upset! I believe the smell is coming from some pipe that leads to my garage. I have looked but nothing, I believe the rat died somewhere near my laundry room, since a hole was covered not to long ago. SInce I cant get to it, can anyone please recommend something , PLEASE!!!
cover the pipe with duct tape and see if smell dissipates, if it does measure the pipe and go to your local hardware store and get a pipe cap there are nice rubber ones with screw straps on them that offer a little fudge room on pipe size. it might be sewer gas you are smelling so cover it right. also run a bit of water down all of the drains in the area (sinks, floor, toilet, and the laundry drain) one of the traps might just be dry.
